This event is free. We kindly ask for you to bring a minimum $15+ value gift(s) for the care package items supporting survivors of sex trafficking (we will be wrapping these together). We always welcome more. The more we are able to receive, the more we are able to give back. This is a fundraising and donation-based effort, and guests are encouraged to bring multiple items if they feel called to contribute. All donations must be new, unused, and packaged (with tags where applicable). Items will be assembled on-site and distributed directly to women in need.
Curvora and The Well Community for Women, a non-profit organization based in San Diego, host a wellness experience rooted in awareness, healing, and giving back. Through movement, breath, reflection, and collective contribution, this day is designed to reconnect women to themselves while directly supporting those in need.
This gathering was created to bring awareness to women in need—specifically mothers facing hardship and survivors of sex trafficking. It is a reminder that care, safety, and dignity should never be out of reach, and that community has the power to create real impact when it comes together with intention.
Curvora, founded by Mia Laren, is built on women’s empowerment through movement, confidence, and community care. With a master's degree in public health and a deep commitment to women’s well-being, Mia created Curvora as a space where wellness becomes both personal transformation and community impact. The Well Community for Women shares this same mission, creating environments where women feel seen, supported, and valued.
Care Packages Will Include:
Hygiene essentials
Skincare and self-care items
Hair care products
Comfort basics (socks, essentials)

Items chosen to restore comfort and care

The Well Community for Women
Our Mission
The Well was created to be a place of refreshment for every woman who walks through our doors. The issues facing women today are real. Working from home can be very isolating. More than half of young moms report experiencing extreme loneliness. They also often experience financial stress. The average childcare cost is nearly half the average woman’s income for just one child.
We know, we’ve been there…
These are the real issues that led us to create The Well. Women need a space to go after their dreams, use their gifts, and grow together in community – all while their children are safe, learning, and having so much fun.
